review 1: I thought this book was very good. Even though it was informational and stuff, it was still very interesting. The plot was well laid out. But at times, the conversations were often boring and were very long. This book had a more of a story type adventure feeling to it. It was described through the perspective of a medieval boy who is a squire to the knights. I would recommend tis book to lots of people because it is informational and its actually not that bad.
review 2: This is a great Junior Fiction. It is definitely a younger Junior Fiction then some of the books I read. The plot was fairly predictable, and the action was fast moving, but for a kid its a great kick start to reading. I thought it had a lot of fun information, (Although being a History nut, and
... more a Boy Scout, I disagreed with some of the scenarios played out.) Fun book over all, and definitely I would recommend to new readers. Great characters, fun action, and a fun illustration of a time that interests Kids. If you like Knights, are a kid between the ages of 10-90 I highly recommend this book! less
