review 1: That was so,so good that I had trouble putting it down even for a moment. Audi is such an intriguing and likeable main character and I really wanted things to turn out well for him whilst being unable to see any way in which they could. The suspense is wonderful throughout the book and even when I figured out who was who and what had happened I still could not work out how it would end. When I was almost at the end I actually put the book away for an hour because I was so anxious about the ending I was beginning to speed read and was therefore not enjoying the story fully. This is truly an excellent book and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre. I have no difficulty giving it five full stars.
review 2: Entertaining with a mystery concerni... moreng the motivation of the main character that kept my interest but also concerned me as it seemed as if the only way out for the author would be mundane or beyond credibility. Happily this was not so and Life or Death is an absorbing story that stayed within the bounds of what is believable. All the cover quotes apply. Enjoyable and highly recommended. I will be putting his other books on my wish list. less
