review 1: Cast in Silence by Michelle SagaraWe have seen Kaylin take on an outcast dragon twice, take care of a raging tidal wave, and help with a play. Now we she where she was for six months before she became a Hawk after she left Nightshade at 13.Barron is falling and Kaylin is tasked to go find out what is going on there. Kaylin truly thought she would never have to go back there and never wanted to. However, with it being their last defense from the shadows she goes there.Kaylin will face her past and learn from it. She has friends with her on this tasks but they don't all come back to Elantra with her. Is it for the best that she goes to Barron or the worse for everyone that out changes? You can read this and find out.
review 2: Thank you, thank you. The story fin... moreally become so formulaic that I foresaw its ending in its entirety when I was barely halfway through the book. I can finally quit this badly written series, because it now has only a medium plot, and that isn't enough to hold my interest.Anyone who knows me, and how utterly and completely OCD I am, knows it means something that I can give up halfway through a series. I'm actually quite grateful. I can't imagine losing another 4-5 days to this drivel. less
