review 1: An amazing end to a fantastic series! This book was amazing even though it was frustrating at times. The reason that I say that is that both the main characters had some serious issues going on and I was worried were they were leading. If you've read this series then you know that Mia went through quite a transformer between books one and two. Gone was the sweet girl that I loved and in her placed was a ruthless witch that wasn't opposed to killing. Even King changed and while we found out what he truly was and knew that he had killed many and wasn't against killing again, he still had a soft side at times when it came to Mia. Those seemed to be all gone in this book which lead to my frustration but in the end Mimi Jean does not disappoint. The ending to this book was trul... morey amazing! I really hope that Mimi Jean does decided to tell Max's story because boy oh boy foes he have a story to tell! Read the book and you will know what I mean.
review 2: So i am heart broken that this book was the end. Severely heartbroken. This book took you on one wild ride back in time. So much has happened in this book its hard to even write a review on it.Mia gets to meet King back before he was married. She sees first hand the torment King has gone through in his 3 thousand years of being alive... well or dead. However you want to see it. King is so badly, excuse my language, fucked up its crazy. Its heartbreaking. Just wow. This book brings the understanding to a completely different level. So much pain. I can't believe its over. It truly saddens me. less

OH MY GOD I LOVED THIS SERIES!! This book was my fav. Which usually doesn't happen in series, the first books are traditionally my favs. But holy shit, this story was amazing. I was hooked. Absolutely loved it. Hope Mimi writes a book for Mack... But only so I can hear more about Mia and King!! KING IS SO HOT. oh my god. I could faint. Read it. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and read this series. It'll have you hooked like drugs and you'll keep thinking about it long after it's over.

I guess there is such a thing as two characters being involved in too many "wow, how are they going to get out of this one?" situations. That was my problem with this book. There is no real suspense involved at this point. You know there will be some convoluted, magical solution to get the characters out of trouble. The ending was not satisfying to me, either. The trilogy started out strong, kept me interested after book two, but finished weakly.
