review 1: Another stellar (and absolutely terrifying) pair of stories from Mira Grant! I just could not put this down once I started this yesterday! I have loved The Newsflesh Trilogy since I first found Feed by accident in the library and I can hardly wait to read more from this undeniably gifted writer, who has found three words that are more terrifying than Zombie Apocalypse: "spontaneous viral amplification", and continued to ask of us all: When will you Rise? Everyone should read The Newsflesh Trilogy-it is a series that is not to be missed!
review 2: This one has 2 stories, the first, Countdown, tells the story of what happens before The Rising, that the series, The Newsflesh Trilogy does. It is funny how each little step brings the world closer to the apocalypse.... more The second story, Apocalypse Scenario No. 683, The Box, is much more scary. I think what made it scary for me is that I can totally see something like this happen. I wish this story was longer, I want to know who/what was at the door, I want to know what happens next to Cole and the others. less
