review 1: ¡Wow! Es lo primero que pude exclamar al terminar de leer éste libro; Un final inesperado que no fue de mi gusto del todo. Algo tedioso el principio pero luego en el desenlace la trama me engancho de modo que no quería soltarlo. En general no es mal libro, cuenta una singular historia que me afloro diversas emociones; Y nos recuerda detenerse a apreciar la belleza de las pequeñas cosas, vivir. Una grata experiencia, en definitiva.Me agrado la forma en que la autora da largas a ciertos eventos con tal hilaridad y sentido que para nada parece relleno… Al igual que la forma en que quedan tendidas en suspenso ciertas escenas.
review 2: Looking through the reviews, i can see this is a divisive book indeed, however i am going to wuss out and become a conplete f... moreence sitter.First and foremost, there is no denying that this is one pretentious little novel... It occasionally reads like a strange collection of philosophical musings, but there is an enchanting, charming group of characters on show here, warts and all. Paloma, at first, seems like a brat... narcissistic and pompous, borderline sociopathic... but she emerges and grows as the story progresses and ends up understanding the beauty we can find in the normal world around ourself. And that is a message that should not be sniffed at.... less
