review 1: I just loved this book...well to be honest after two or three pages I did not really know what to think about what I was reading but the more I kept on, the more I loved it.This is not pornography at all.actually it is about sex yes but it could have been about anything else and in the end it reminded me of Boris Vian or Guillaume appollinaire or other books essentially dealing with absurd.I love absurd when it is well written and this book is a masterpeace.
review 2: "House of Holes" is the funniest book I have ever read, and probably the strangest, and certainly the most obscene. (The subtitle is, after all, "A Book of Raunch".) There is nothing else I could say about it that would be in any way enlightening; the only truth is in experience. Just make sure yo... moreu don't read it in public - and please don't tell anyone that I recommended it to you.Anyway, the only recommendation the book needs is from Tom Bissell's review in GQ: "Had Dr. Seuss been a slightly insane pornographer, he might have written a book like this."I rate this book six stars out of five. less
