review 1: I am ridiculously tired of the serials! I have a DVR for a reason. I am perfectly fine waiting for the next installment of an actual book, but I just can't abide the serials since most of them aren't even a full story. This one holds true to form since it too doesn't even hold to the tenants of a short story. There should be some sort of beginning, middle and end that comes to some sort of reasonable conclusion. I just feel like this dropped off for commercial break. So dang annoying! Now for what I did like... The characters were interesting and I feel as though a got a pretty good glimpse into their make-up. The story followed along reasonable well, up until the end anyway. I genuinely liked them and was interested in reading more of their story. This was not ... morejust a bunch of mediocre sex scenes loosely linked together by just the most perfunctory of material. This is very light reading and can be followed with only half my attention. That may not sound that great, but with a screamy attention seeking toddler half is all I've got.I doubt I'll continue this story. Bothered just wasn't enough of it to make me remember it. That is the other problem with serials. Unless it is a balls out, attention grabbing, panty wetting story ( see Blood and Roses serial ) I just won't remember it or am bothered to follow the author. Mores the pity since I think a lot of these serials would be pretty good if the author chose to put together a book rather then pander for more money with multiple installments of a broken apart book. I absolutely feel that authors should be paid for my entertainment, but I don't think they should bleed me dry for mediocre half stories.
review 2: Your meet Presley who fashion photographer. Who marriage is over and bored with her career. A night on the town leads her to meat Jett from famous international rocker from the band Crave. Just her luck another Rocker. All she wants is one night of sex but Jett has made his mission to make her new addiction him. One night is not enough for either of them. Presley tries to push the new rocker away while her soon to be ex husband Lennon is trying to push his way back into her life. We meet a ray of characters in the new band. From the heavy rocker, to the normal guy to the sweet talker. I know Presley is on a wild ride to keep new rocker Jett at bay while Lennon her soon to be ex husband away. Cant wait to see where all th bright characters will lead us in the new series. less
