review 1: I got this book kindle version for free from amazon and so started reading it. The plot looked interesting and I thought it would be a good read, but it was boring from the beginning!! I had to try hard to keep going and understand what exactly is happening! The book becomes interesting in the half way, but nothing to grip you to the book. Even the climax is not gripping!!! When I read the plot it sounded so interesting. A TOWY phenomena which has gone viral and cops/feds would be racing against time to identify and stop the next murder! but this is nothing like tat!!! Its a boring read. There is nothing about how cops find the creator of website!!! If you have lot of time to kill and have lot of patience then go for it.
review 2: I have mixed feelings about th
... moreis book. I particularly like the concept driving it--it is both so disturbing and plausible at the same time that it offers a great focus for a book club discussion. This idea could become trendy: the depressed and marginalized in the modern world, connected through the internet yet alone and alienated to the point of planning suicide, take on the mantle of vigilantism, to do their small part to rid the world of scumbags and assholes. Aided and abetted by an anarchic website, they vow to TOWY, Take One With You, and suicide-murders begin to proliferate.I am familiar with the particular approach to novel writing employed here--integrating a range of different communication forms along the way to update the plot: here a twitter feed, there a blog post, a bit later an e-mail or facebook post. Several young authors have used this strategy in recent years. Such integration could have been handled a bit more deftly to avoid any redundancies. Also, while the different character personalities usually came through okay, some were too cliché, and a bouncing back between two different plotlines and perspectives in the latter third of the book was ambiguously confusing in more than one transition. I felt the ending did not adequately answer all the wonderful questions raised, but I still congratulate the author for the idea behind this first book. A bit more proofreading was still needed, so do be sure to give more time and care to that step in the future. less

Couldn't finish this one. Too much profanity for me. No further opinion.
