review 1: I love shape shifter romances so when I saw the cover on this book, I had to pick it up. I didn't realize it was a series until I started it. It would have been a lot easier to understand some of the things mentioned in the book, if I had read the prior books in the series. Overall though, it was a fantastic book. Great characters and story line. I will definitely have to read the other book in the series.
review 2: I'm so in love with the Feral Warriors. Pamela Palmers tales remind me of J.R. Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood. With the light in their radiant power giver, Kara, slowly dimming the warriors are losing their power to shift and as they lose their animals, they lose their immortality and can be killed by the evil that has permeated the world and will... more take over. In time they will all die and with them any hope of safety for anyone. The Wolf in their house, who is named Wulfe(go figure) has been secretly watching over Natalie, a woman rescued from a sacrificial offering along with several of her friends and brother. Ferals can remove memories and thus return those who survived the horror of that day to their respective homes. Unfortunately Natalie's brothers memory cannot be cleansed and he must remain with them or die. Natalie has slowly fallen for the mysterious wolf/dog that comes to her back porch to give her comfort for all she has lost. When evil warriors storm her home her loving canine becomes a fiery warrior who snatches her away to Feral House where Natalie is filled with more questions than answers. Lovely story...but is it the end? I don't think so! (Think Daemons!) less
