review 1: This was an enjoyable read. Good characters and locations, decent action, cool weapons and gadgets, and interesting plots and plot turns to always keep things moving and interesting.NOTE:I find the marketing of these books a little ridiculous and purposely misleading. On the front cover: "From the creator of Jason Bourne" (his name in larger font than anything else on the cover). First of all, this novel does not feature Jason Bourne, nor was it written by the creator of Jason Bourne. It then says "Robert Ludlum's The Janson Command". As far as I know, Ludlum did not create The Janson Command, although he did create the character in an earlier work. The actual author's name is mentioned at the bottom of the front cover. Are they trying to trick people into buying this nove... morel thinking it was written by Robert Ludlum? Sure seems like it. Anyway, hopefully Paul Garrison will get enough of a name for himself so they can stop this silly practice.
review 2: The Janson Command by Robert Ludlum/Paul Garrison. I'm always leery of these books written by other author's in Ludlum's name. In his time, Ludlum could spin a story that you would stay up all night to read. And I was surprised, pleasantly, that this book turned out to be interesting. I will admit, I didn't really care for the reader but it was easy enough to get past him to listen to the whole book. Janson, a former Cons Ops operative, has started his own shadow agency and foundation. His foundation rehabilitates damaged former operatives and his shadow agency takes jobs to pay the bills of the foundation. A pretty good spy mystery, I would recommend it. I do hope if Garrison writes anymore books, they get a different reader. He doesn't do female voices very well and he's kind of flat toned in his reading. less

Listened to the audio version of this. Interesting story, not quite sure if I like it or not.

Another super-indestructible tough yet sensitive superspy. Combination of batman and superman.

Predictable. Unrealistic. Terrible.
Psychotica
Lively action filled with suspense.
