review 1: WWWWHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTT?!?!?!?!Please excuse me but that was my reaction for much of this book. I read this book pretty much right after the second in the series, but once again the Mr. Lerangis grips the reader right from the beginning and plunges them right into the world of Jack, Aly, Cas, and Marco.The twists and turns will have the reader eager to turn the page faster and faster. For every answer, two questions pop up and some decisions and thus consequences leave the reader with their mouth wide open and silently screaming 'What? Did that just happen?' or more precisely please see the beginning of this review.Can't wait for the next book in the series!
review 2: Another excellent book in the series. Jack and his friends haven't changed and the adventures w... morehere just as exciting. There are new characters introduced that add a nice touch and there are sad parts that you wish never happened. The Selects continue to get stronger and learn more about their powers. We learn more about the group working against the Selects and why they are. Peter Lerangis has created an exciting series that I look forward to continuing. less
