review 1: "If You Are Reading This It's Too Late", is a story about best friends making their way through their teenage years together. Although, there's a twist, they are a part of a secret spy organization. this novel is a sequel , so I suggest you enjoy the first book , "The Name of This Book Is Secret". "If You Are Reading This It's Too Late" is full of plot twists, adventure, magic, and an engaging story line. I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars. Not only does this book keep you guessing, but you will feel like you are apart of the story. Also this novel makes you attached to the characters and their spunky attitudes. The complexity of the story line with its quick moving dialogue leads me to recommending this book to anyone 11 and older. I couldn't put it down and I'll bet y... moreou won't either. Overall,"If You Are Reading This It's Too Late" is a "good read".
review 2: I really like this book because it is very creative. The way the author writes these books is very unique. When you read the books it sounds like he is right in front of you talking. He writes, "I'm sorry- I can't do it.I can't write this book. I am far to frightended"(7). What Pseudonymous Bosch also does, is when he is writing and wants to make a side comment he will put a star next to the sentence then at the bottom of the page is his side comment. I have never seen an author do that before. Lastly, he writes as if there is a big secret he is hiding. For example, if he is naming the town that the book is taking place in he will write Xxxxxx road in Xxxxxx city. The only thing I disliked about this book was the tiny amount of scare. In this book he writes about how bad gus are breaking into the main characters bed room and trying to kill her. I was not scared at all by this part. When I went to bed that night I was not frightend that someone will come into my room and kill me. That is the only thing I would change. I wanted to be scared. But this book is still a good book and I do reccomend that you read it. less
