Meet Your Match
review 1: I’ve been looking forward to Rough Around the Edges Meets Refined since reading the first book. They’re both cute, sweet clean romances. This is a series of standalones, so you don’t have to have read any of the others to pick one up.This a great follow up to the first book in the Meet Your Match series, Pride Meets Prejudice. It was nice to catch up on Emma and get to know Noah better. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series about Samantha, too.Noah and Cassie are two widows not looking for love. Neither had the greatest marriage, and Cassie especially didn’t. Her late husband had been emotionally and verbally abusive, leaving her scarred and jaded, which is to be expected. She flashes back to her marriage frequently, so if you have issues of abuse in... more your past, you might find it upsetting. They meet through Noah’s neighbor who is convinced that they’re a match made in Heaven. Neither one of them buy it. As they get to know each other, they find that the other’s strengths are what they need. But will they be willing to let go of the past and give love a chance?I received a review copy in exchange for my honest review.
review 2: LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. THIS SERIES!FUN! CLEAN! WITTY! FANTASTIC!Cassie's husband recently passed away and has left some deep scars. She doesn't want to repeat the past and has vowed to never marry again. She has a chance for a fresh start and she is devoting all her time and money and talents in teaching dance.Only one problem...She wants to teach dance from home, but her basement is unfinished.Calling on her friend Becky for help...Cassie is surprised to open the door to not only Becky but Noah too.Noah is Becky's neighbor and also the father of two of Cassie's dance students.Becky quickly explains that Noah has to skills to turn her basement into something spectacular.Noah just lost his job so he is grateful for this opportunity to work.He is a single dad with two darling girls and the memories of his late wife filling up his life.He is not looking to move forward in his love life. But Becky has other ideas for both of them :)Sometimes friends can push you "exactly where you need to go."Don't plan on doing anything else until this book is finished, because you won't be able to put it down. SO. SO. SO. GOOD! less
