review 1: A clean, fast reading romance. I had some issues with the characterization of the lead female. She can't get over a high school crush - crush, mind you, not boyfriend - from when she was 14 and it's crippled her romantic life into adulthood? Really? Their high school background didn't seem developed enough to influence her adult decisions as much as it did. I kind of rooted against the lead male because I thought it was time for her to move on.
review 2: Another fun book by Rachael Anderson. The premise was a little cheesy (ok, maybe the whole thing was a little cheesy). I mean, who is hung up on the same guy for ten years after he has moved away? The guy she fell in love with when she was 14 yrs old ... But I still liked it. The story was interesting, the ... morewriting flowed nicely without trying too hard, and the characters were so likeable. It wasn't my favorite book by Rachael, but it was a good one. Clean, light summer read. less
