review 1: I thought the concept of dragons and humans living in peace, as fragile as it is and that some of the dragons transforms into human beings, was great but the content itself was lackluster and I was rather bored. The love story seemed forced and unnecessary. The way that particular storyline ended at the end of the book seem demeaning to Seraphina and Princess Glisselda. But my biggest issues with this book are that I really didn't care for Seraphina, all the loopholes and confusing writing style.

... morerincess Glisselda isn't just a blonde, naive teenage princess who's only thoughts are for dresses, princes, and parties. She's a clever princess. To me, it's an unusual but interesting character portrayal. less

Wouldn't make sense without first reading Seraphina, but it brought a smile to my face.
