review 1: A short read with lots of sizzling hot sex, but not much elseThis was my first book to read in this series. I must admit, it was quite steamy!!! Yes, it had the insta-love factor, but with them being shifters/witches it was a little easier to tolerate. I'm also not usually a fan of ménages but this one was simple enough and not done to overkill. I was worried I really wouldn’t like the M/M/F combo with the men being siblings, but I think it made it a bit more intimate and less taboo in a strange way? Not a lot happened in this book aside from sex. There wasn’t even much of a plot. It was just LOTS of sex. Almost to an extreme. I mean come on...... wild sex all night with 2 shifters, day after day, and yet she still runs to the shower in the morning to get on he... morer knees for one of her mates and begs for more sex??? Really??? Girls gotta be sore and tired at some point, ya know? Make her a bubble bath or something. Geesh. All in all, this book for me was 95% erotica, 4% paranormal/fantasy, and 1% romance. It's probably not a series I will continue. I like RE Butler, and will definitely read more of her work in the future, but this one just didn’t quite work for me. While I'm a smut-lover, I gotta have a good storyline to go with it. I bore of books where it's just non-stop sex. Still not a bad buy at its current listing price of .99.
review 2: Wysteria is a Natural Born Witch and she couldn't stand being in her mothers Coven so she left and joined Elizabeth's old coven. She knows that she is going to find her Mates soon. When she has to go to the were-tiger kings house for a healing she gets a surprise that she didn't expect at one of her weakest moments. Were-Tiger brothers Melo and Tahlon have been in different ambushes for years. But now Tahlon is going to be joining Melo in his. While visiting with Melo they make a stop in the Kings house and they are surprised when they realize that they had found their Mate. But as soon as they touch her she passes out. They are not willing to let her out of their site. They will run into a few obstacles, including Melo and Tahlon's former ambush Queen, and Wysteria's mother. My opinion: I think that the books in this series just get better as the series progress's. This book is no exception. I love how everyone in this series is supernatural in one way or another so it is easy for them to accept the fact that they are a Mate to someone. This makes it easier for the author to make such great stories at shorter length books. I loved everything about this book with the exception of The ex Queen and Wysteria's mother. Both women are very shady and conniving. But unfortunately they do help make the story work. A 5 Heart rating by LSK Sweetheart Reviews and I definitely recommend reading.
