Another great installment in the Mistborn series. Sanderson seamlessly jumps ahead hundreds of years, introducing likable and compelling new characters while staying truthful to the rules of the first trilogy but still developing them in interesting ways.
The story, about a lawman who returns from the roughs to be the head of his family’s house after a series of deaths draws him back, moves at a quick pace throughout. The villains were also interesting in terms of their abilities as well as their motivations and relationships to the lead characters.
My only complaint with this installment was that the character names were kinda hokey. Looking forward to volume 5.
