72 hours in burlington

i’ve been seriously overwhelmed with the process of moving (yes, we’re moving. to winooski. THIS saturaday, ah!) and attempting to learn everything there is about this new job of mine. oh and my mom came to visit. which came at a perfect time for a little mini-staycation. i’ll have lived in burlington for the last 9 years come august and my parents visit for holidays and typically one or two other times during the year. needless to say, we’ve done the “burlington tour” a time or two. this time when my mom came we made an explore different places in chittenden county. here’s a little recap of our weekend. and if you’ve never come to burlington before, here’s your go-to guide.

first activity was a cruise along the burlington bike path to the new north end. we didn’t make it to the causeway (as we couldn’t rely on mother nature to hold out) regardless, it was fun to go for a little spin. my parents still live in colorado and being the land-locked state that it is, my mom is always wanting to be by the water. it could’ve been a downpour and she would’ve had fun.
