My Review: I was so excited to pick up this book from the moment I knew Kimberly was writing another book. I kept seeing people with arcs and samples and couldn’t wait to have it in my hands. I ordered it basically right before release. I have to say I was a bit disappointed in this book. This is the first book by Kimberly I read that didn’t have different point of views. I was a little upset by that cause I always enjoyed it and I felt Kimberly always did a good job of making everything come together that way. I didn’t let that stop me. I had been anxious as hell to read this book. I have to say though it took me about 100 pages or so to actually get into the book. I really didn’t feel like much happened at the beginning of the book.
I do have to say I was shocked by what happened in the book. I wasn’t really expected for it to go into the direction it did. I guessed about who had taken her friend and was completely wrong. So I was happy about that. I did feel there was one scene later on that was very unrealistic and I didn’t think it was necessary. I feel I might know why she did that but idk I’ll just have to wait and see when the next book comes out.
Overall I really didn’t enjoy this as much as I would have hoped. I was pleased because most the guesses I made were completely wrong so I never knew what was coming which I liked. I’m interested to see where the story will go so I’ll most likely read the next one when it comes out.

The Shattering, which is the second book in this series comes out May 2nd.
