I’ve finally gotten around to cleaning up the house now that everything is unpacked. Usually when we unpack, things lay around the house for days until I get around to putting them away. In an effort to avoid this despite having a baby around, I’ve been getting off the couch and actually cleaning up while the baby’s been napping and then only sleeping when the baby is asleep at night. This means I’ve been getting up around six to eight in the morning and going to bed around ten, but it also means that the cleaning has been getting done.
In February I will usually do a designated Cleaning Day before Lunar New Year, when I get all my spring cleaning done and prepare for the new year. How does one get the deep cleaning done when you only have one day though? Enter this infographic:
I follow this and it never fails to get everything completely clean. If you finish a room early, I highly suggest moving to the next right away so you don’t lose momentum and you can get any rooms that aren’t specified on the list (like a home office) cleaned up before dinner. Clean on!
