Your Challenge: Write a new poem with a doorway motif, one with doors open or closed.
Darkness. Crescent moon–
Only arc of light to fall
On face of brass knocker,
Raising hairs on back of my neck
When countenance of a gargoyle
Appeared. Strange music wafts from windows. Should I run?
