Goodreads

Let me start off by saying this was my first Ryan Graudin book, but it definitely won’t be the last. I loved every second of this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Sci-Fi like I do!

The ‘Found Family’

I am willing to admit that this trope is my biggest weakness. I’m a sucker for that collection of misfits that shouldn’t really work but somehow do? And this book definitely checked that box for me. Though we do start with many relationships established, throughout the book you see the characters come to care for each other in even more complex and deep ways.

The Time Traveling

The time travel mechanic in this book is ‘hashing’ amazing, I loved learning more about their technology throughout the book and watching the Invictus’ crew utilize their knowledge of  it to get themselves out of tough situations. Plus, all the little snippets of history you see throughout the book are positively entrancing.

It Takes A Moment…

I will say, it took be a good second to be invested in the book. I knew I liked it from page one but I didn’t hit the point where I couldn’t put it down until around halfway through. After that I flew through the rest of the book in one sitting.

Have any of you guys read Invictus? What did you think about it? Which of Ryan Graudin’s other books do you recommend?
