During my sightseeing tours in China I have witnessed that many precious objects that I had a chance to see are made in jade. There is not much left of the real jade as I was informed and therefore the price of it is really high. I must admit that I really don´t like the typical dark green shade of jade so I don´t fancy about its jewellery. Still, I was intrigued by the whole fascination on jade so I was happy when I had an opportunity to go to the jade factory where this precious stone is being turned into different decorative objects.
There I learned that jade can be also found in other colours such as blue, green, red and white. The price of jade will also depend on its quality, the dark green one seems to be the most expensive one (prices of the bracelets were like few thousands of EUR).
As a souvenir I bought myself a pair of very simple white jade earrings that are very handy for every day combinations. Besides, white jade as I read helps you to bring important decisions so I somehow like to think that I am particularly determined while wearing them
