I’m back in LA from my little retreat in Palm Springs relaxed, refreshed, and ready to dive into the days ahead. Armand and crew are just about done with the second floor, with a few adjustments to be done. Since the lease on my apartment ended, I’ve been crashing at the Four Seasons hotel which is so fun and so luxe!
To be honest, with the cost of reno, Four Seasons is just a tad over budget after two days. The second floor of my new home is livable enough, so I plan on moving my things in and continuing renovations as usual. Probably not a smart plan, but hey, wing it!
Thankfully there’s late check out, since I didn’t get to bed until 3am, Skyping with my girl Kenra who is in Korea doing hair for a k-pop group. She is so amazing! It was fun seeing Korea through Skype, but now my morning is paying for it.
Since it’s such a lazy Sunday, I decided to go with an in-room breakfast; a cup of coffee and a little pastry to hold me till my brunch meeting. Hopefully I can pull the trigger on some of my ideas.
I must admit, the Four Seasons has such amazing service! And such luxurious bedding! I may stay here for my next staycation, instead of heading to Palm Springs.
