Library Reads #23

Library Reads: I’m a Library Lover, so these posts are where I document the books I’ve borrowed from libraries. I’ll tell you a little bit about what I expect from the book, or the author’s writings. Whether what I say is a sentence long, or a few sentence’s. From doing these posts, I hope to spread a little of my love for libraries, while also informing you of books that you may or may not have known of!

Here are the books I’ve borrowed recently.

River Marked by Patricia Briggs

River Marked is the 6th book in the Mercy Thompson series. That’s all I’m going to say for River Marked since I haven’t read the books’ synopsis yet. I don’t want to spoil myself!

What Light by Jay Asher

What Light is a book that I’ve had my eye on for a while. Not only is the cover cute, but the synopsis leads me to believe that What Light is going to be pretty interesting.

Fireblood by Jeff Wheeler

I’ve had this book on the back burner for a few years now, ever since I had requested Fireblood as an ARC on Goodreads and ran out of time to read the book. So here I am, trying to read the book again!

Dead House by Dawn Kutrigch

I read on Goodreads that Dead House is a YA Horror novel, so obviously I had to try my hand at the book. Let’s see if this book actually ends up scaring me, shall we?

If I Stay by Gayle Forman (Audiobook) read by Kirstin Potter

I borrowed If I Stay as an audiobook using Overdrive and honestly!! Seeing as how If I Stay was my first Audiobook, I was so happy that I borrowed the audiofiles. Kirstin Potter is a great storyteller.

Firehouse Chef by Patrick Mathieu
(Recipes from Canada’s Firefighters)

I saw that Firehouse Chef was had Recent Activity on my libraries internet site, and was immediately like, YES!! LETS DO THIS! So I borrowed the book.

These are the books for this post! I’d love to know if any of you have any of the books listed above. If you have, did you enjoy them? If you haven’t read them, do you think you will?

Happy Reading!
Adele
