Today I’ll be reviewing Love in Game by Lexi Buchanan. I have read the other books in the series and have just finished reading this one so while its fresh in my mind I’ll review it. The other book will be reviewed as well.
Having read all of the other books in the series I had to read this one. I wasn’t disappointed with this book as I had been with book four.
Kasey has been playing hockey in New York his whole adult life and was just living through the days but seeing his brothers and sister find their own happily ever after, he yearns for a love of his own. On a night out in Las Vegas he spots a girl in distress and can’t bring himself to look away from her and going over to her…
Felicity spots Kasey in a bar in La Vegas while some creepy guy is hitting on her. After Kasey saves her she can’t say no to him and follows him up to his room and they talk all night but come the morning she leaves Kasey without any way for him to contact her. Will they ever find each other again?
This story has been written in the point of view of Kasey and Felicity. I really like points of view so you know what each of the characters are feeling and thinking but sometime it can be frustrating as a reader because you want the character to tell each other what their feels and secrets are. But I love this story to see the last of the siblings find a love of their own and get to know them in more detail than I’ve already read from the other books. This book is a romance story but it has lots of funny moments that had me laugh out loud at time.
There are a couple of spelling and grammar mistakes reading this book which brings me out of the story a little but other than that I can’t fault the story or book.
I’m happy to say that there are two more books coming out before this series will end and I’m excited to see how all the family is doing. I’m looking forward for the next stories in this amazing series.
