Not every donut can be a winner on this blog, unfortunately. Today’s donut comes to us from Starbucks. I had seen it in the display case many times and decided to finally answer my question of, “I wonder if the donuts at Starbucks are any good.”
Short answer: they are not.
This is not Starbucks’ first appearance on the blog though. Mike actually happened to find that their Glazed Chocolate Cake donut quite good. Maybe Starbucks’ donuts are just better in Seattle?

Broke apart very easily. Very soft with no outer crunch
Glaze/frosting: 3
Planish, but had a hint of maple which I found odd.

Overall Taste: 1
Soggy on top and overall kind of bland. I gave it to a coworker to finish.
