Katherine Klein has been warned: Stay far away from Lance Walton. After one night in the country, the quintessential city girl has the unwanted attention of the infamous country boy. For months, she’s been dodging his advances, but a moment of weakness changes everything.

Lance Walton felt immediately drawn to Katherine from the moment she knocked on his best friend’s door Christmas morning. Winning over this city girl is a mountain of a task for any country boy, but Lance is up to the challenge. He never expected the morning he left her naked at The Inn would be the last time he would see her.

In the aftermath of her bad decisions, Katherine returns to the city. Haunted by what they shared and all she lost, she vows to never return to the country. But the country finds her unexpectedly when Lance shows up in the most unlikely place. But does he have the country boy charm to break through the walls of her heart and outshine the big city competition?

Review

Jaycee Ford introduce us Lance Walton in the previous two books. The first one show us Lance as a playboy and in the second book we see as Lance broke Elly. Now the author introduces us the real Lance Walton in another perspective. I must say Lance captivate me and wanted to get to know more as I read.

Everyone knew that Lance Walton was the all-time Country Playboy. But when he saw Katherine he felt drawn. Katherine on the other hand was  given the advice to avoid Lance Walton and do not fall for his charm, but the attraction is inevitable.

The book tell us want happen between them since the time the first book finishes and takes us in a journey of how they keep on going and fighting. This book is full of misunderstandings and miscommunications. Also like the other Love Bug books it fill with lots of love and passion.  Can Lance Walton fall in love, and change his ways just to win Katherine hearts? Can Katherine fall in love with Lance against knowing all the reason to not do it?

Jaycee again didn’t miss the chance in making us swoon by the words that came out every time Lance opened his mouth

“This woman was going to kill me. I would love every minute of my death”

“She was laughing at me but I didn’t care as long as I saw that beautiful smile, she could laugh at me forever.”

“Meeting her was inevitable. Falling for her was destined.”

There are some things I didn’t like in the plot but I recommend this book because helps us understand that sometimes the person you fall for, isn’t the perfect man or woman, but the imperfections is what makes love perfect.
