Dear Readers,
Terri Blackstock was writing romantic suspense before it had a name. I have enjoyed her books for years and plan on continuing to read them for years to come. She has a way of addressing issues while offering a well written mystery. In the first novel, If I Run, it was a missing girl and sex trafficking. In the second novel of the series, If I am Found, it is child abuse and suicide. Once again not light topics, but ones we have all heard about.
Casey is still on the run. After a close escape, she is on the move to get as far as possible until she can either disappear forever or prove her innocence. Dylan let her escape and believes she did not commit the murder of his best friend, but Casey isn’t sure she believes him. Will Dylan earn her trust before the search for her finds her again.
I love a mystery series that not only have a mystery in each book, but a mystery that arcs over the entire series. It makes you want to continue the series to finish the series, but it also makes each book so enjoyable to read.
Book #3 If I Live is due out next March and so I know what I will be doing in March. Well at least for a few action packed days.
Happy Reading,
