Goodreads: In the charming town of Peasebrook, there’s a place for everyone. War vet Joe has made new friends and a new home for himself here, overlooking a beautiful apple orchard. But when tragedy strikes and Joe is left out in the cold, it will bring them all together in entirely unexpected ways . . .

My Review: What a great little short story Veronica Henry has written. With both laughter and tears to be had, it was a nice half hour read to sit down to with a lovely cup ‘o’ tea.

The Apple Orchard was captivating and engulfed me into feeling I was actually there. Although quite a sad story, there was still a pick me up sense about it and the characters were likeable, loveable and truly believable.

I think I need to go find some more Veronica Henry novels now!!
