Adam opened his eyes and looked into the beautiful face of a woman gazing down at him. Adam was surprised and asked the woman why she had been created. She revealed that she was to ease his loneliness and bring tranquility to him. The Angels questioned Adam. They knew that Adam possessed knowledge of things they did not know about and the knowledge mankind would need to occupy the earth. They said ‘who is this?’ and Adam replied ‘this is Eve’.
I was thinking about this the other day when I was writing my last post about a dick, and it seems to me that there is another similar expression aiming towards private parts, “don’t be a pussy,” one could either be implying that the intended target of said word is behaving like a pussy cat with reference to a cat like a kitten, or that they are behaving like a woman by referring to woman’s genitalia. I tend to think it is the latter, and therefore a horrible thing to say. This is due to it is not only making some unkind generalizations about all of womanhood, but it is replacing the whole with the part, further demoralizing and objectifying women.
On my last post, I have encourage you all to be a dick – objectifying the men’s genital part and I intended to do so in this post. Be a pussy. This term pussy referring to women’s part as if to show that women’s in general is a weak being and I am disagree with this. Women is definitely stronger than men in their own way. I am not being biased towards any gender as I believe that women and men are equally created.
As a man – I believed that not all the thing can be perfectly done by a man. We need a woman to help us – to complete us. Remember that the pussy that we are referring to ; symbolizing it as a weak subject is the one where we all come from. A mother’s womb – a sacred place ; the place where it all started. A small opening manage to protect us for nine month and deliver us when it is the right time. The protection gate.
Why would we as a man – symbolizing weaknesses with a part from a woman’s body where we know that it is the place where we all start. Our own home – fortress of solitude. Where we depend on it for our survival in our earlier stage of life – and later on condemned it as a weak spot. Ungrateful.
The term pussy not only referring to the private parts of a woman but to the woman as a whole. Generalizing a woman as a weak subject. It is true indeed that woman are not created to be physically strong but on the inside they are much more better creation than a man. A man task is to protect, to give cover to the soft spot much like an eggs.
And God said: ‘O Mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam) and from Him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women. – Quran 4:1
Imagine a chicken egg without a shell – it would be hopeless and it will be hard to get or to give a life to a little baby chick and so if there is only shell but no albumen nor egg yolk. No baby chick will be born from it. Much like us. The creation of a man and a woman ; to perfect each other. A man act as the egg shell to give protection and the woman act as a soft spot for the hard shell to give calmness, tranquility and endless love for better future. It is time to appreciate each other differences. A time to embrace the power of a pussy and know that a pussy is never a weak subject but a strong, a place for love and a source of life.
It is time to put gender discrimination out of the equation in our life. If you are a man – manly enough ; take your responsibility and be the shell for the woman. Protect them from harm and appreciate them as what they is – not a symbol of weaknesses but your own savior. The missing puzzles to man’s life. If you are a woman – learn that you are a strong being – never to be objectified, never to be deem unworthy and weak. You know you are strong and you can do all the thing you wanted to do. Be worthy.
