Just because someone has studied at a University or has a degree, it doesn’t mean that they are better human beings. Point in case is the recent interview that Kim Hill did for Radio New Zealand with Don Brash. Listen to it here:
Don Brash seems to be unable to see that language is not only used for efficiency of communication. He is annoyed he has to listen to a radio presenter using Te Reo for 20 seconds.. Yet he says he uses the term “Whānau” as the English term “Family” doesn’t quite cut it.
