Top 5 Boss Men

One of my biggest fantasies is finding a smart, rich, sexy CEO of a major company to fall deeply in love with me and spoil me for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, I have to settle for reading about this in books.

And oh my, there are so many books in this category. So if you’re in the mood for a successful businessman to fulfil your dreams, look no further than my top 5 Boss Men.

  • Christian Grey from 50 Shades of Grey – E.L James
  • This may be an obvious one but I can’t count down my top 5 favourite boss men without paying homage to the man that introduced me to the genre.

Christian certainly has his faults, but the amount he loves and spoils Ana is not one of them. Top of the range tech, amazing holidays and gorgeous cars. Considering my iPhone screen has been smashed for 2 months now, you can understand why I love to read this genre.

Its 2018 and we still love Mr Grey. This year we get to see the final film in the trilogy and we still have the fall out from the huge argument in book 3 from Christian’s perspective to look forward to!

Seems like Christian will not be leaving my heart anytime soon.

    2. Jackson Rutledge from Afterburn/Aftershock – Sylvia Day

My poor Jax. Used by his family to clean up their messes and desperately in love with a girl he thinks is too good for him.

My boy foolishly thinks he is doing the right thing by leaving Gia at the start of the books and he is not about to walk back into her life without a challenge.

Jax is constantly torn throughout both books between Gia and his family, but you are just going to have to read the books to find out who wins out…

Or of course, you could watch the film! The fabulous new invention that is Passionflix has recently adapted the two books into one angst-filled film. Definitely worth a watch, even if only for the actor they have playing Jax. Swoon.

    3. Bennett Ryan from Beautiful Bastard – Christina Lauren

Just like 50 shades, this book started its life as a Twilight fanfiction. Now before that puts you off, this book is nothing like twilight. Sure, you can similarities between couples, but the plot is completely different and there is not a single vampire in sight.

Not only is Bennett a sexy as sin Boss Man, but he is Chloe’s Boss Man. The sexual tension between assistant and boss can be felt throughout the book, throw in a bit of drama and a whole lot of falling in love, and you’ve got a great read. Definitely worth checking out.

And, as a bonus, the romance starts from chapter one!

    4. Gideon Cross from the Crossfire Series – Sylvia Day

Sylvia Day has a talent for creating powerful, obsessive and dominating men that I love to read about. Gideon Cross is a heartbreakingly beautiful man with a backstory to match.

Gideon falls madly in love with Eva after meeting her in his building and over the next 5 books we get to see them fight, makeup and break up multiple times. Which is exactly what a drama lover like me needs in a book.

*sigh* why can’t I run into a powerful CEO on my first day of work?

    5. Harvey Zale from Exes – Aria Hawthorne

Oh, this book. Harvey and Alma were college sweethearts and madly in love.

Then Harvey became a success and their love took a back seat. Fast forward to the start of this book, and the pair has been divorced for a year.

Luckily for us, they are both still very much in love. And lust.

Harvey has the power to crush Alma’s dreams for the sake of his business, will he go through with it or will love win out?

You’ll just have to read the book to find out and trust me, you’ll want to read this book.
