Goodreads synopsis:
Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.
Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.
In his long-awaited return, John Green, the acclaimed, award-winning author of Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars, shares Aza’s story with shattering, unflinching clarity in this brilliant novel of love, resilience, and the power of lifelong friendship.

Excuse my language, but I bloody loved this book. If you are hesitant to read this book because it’s John Green or because of the hype around The Fault In Our Stars, all I can tell you is to just forget it and read it! It is probably my favourite book I read in 2017.

It was so nice to read and delve into the comfort of John Green’s writing style again and to meet and fall in love with the new characters he has created.

Turtles All The Way Down is very character driven, there isn’t a lot of plot but I really liked it. I fell in love with all the characters, they all had their own problems and intricate personalities, Aza especially.

Aza honestly stole my heart, I have never related to a character more than how I relate to Aza. Aza suffers from OCD and Anxiety, which is so good to see in YA and which is how I was able to relate to her so much. I really don’t know how to put it into words but I just adore Aza and this book so much. It means so much to me.

The writing is so easy to read with good pacing. As soon as I finished, I wanted to start it again, just so I could relive all the emotions I felt when I first read it. I can’t say it enough but I just love it so much!

I highly recommend Turtles All The Way Down by John Green, it will change you. But be aware, it can be rather triggering, if you suffer from Anxiety or OCD.

Thanks for reading! Let me know you’re thoughts, I would love to know what you thought of Turtles All The Way Down if you read it!
