When The Sun goes Down

When the sun goes down, flowers go to sleep
Some people may go to their beds and weep
Animals of the night come to life
Their eyes like to work at night to strive

When the sun goes down, the moon takes it’s place
People of the night come to live and their hunger plays
Each day a new darkness is born
And some unpleasant things might be shown

Some people get sad when the sun goes down
But for the other some, darkness is light, so they start to haunt around
Sunset clouds disappear, and stars begin to appear
And so lights get turned on to move away the fear

Under the moon is where lovers go
Looking for the moonlight that helps their love to grow
Some admire the fearful of the night
Others can’t wait to see morning light

When the sun goes down, the world goes upside down
Shadows take the chance, for it’s their perfect playground
It is a vast world out there, so be aware
If your not, you will stumble upon many nightmares

There are things you can’t show when the sun is up
So you wait for the sun to go down to have your loving cup
People look at the night as a shelter
For they can hide their flaws, a chance to let down their barrier

When the sun goes down, it’s time for some things to wake up from their sleep
It is a time of the day when unfamiliar creatures wake up and start to creep
On the other side, some people like to sweet talk and reminisce
Talking in hiss and having a starry kiss

Oh when the sun goes down, when the sun goes down
maybe you’ll find happiness or a frown
You never know what you’ll feel, once the light disappear
For the night has many disguises, and never once been clear
