review 1: A short free kindle read, Deeper Baby, by Red Phoenix, an unknown author to me is., as I discovered book #4 of Sensual Erotica Series….have never heard of. Only noticed that the story actually is told over a few books in the series. he story is told by two different people and it all happens on the same night.Part 1 has Troy reluctantly agrees to go with his girlfriend, Kate to a swingers bar where unbeknown to him she wants to do it with two men at the same time. He sees another side of her that he can’t handle , leaves the club and tells her to get lost…well he’s much more graphic than that. I don’t blame him….the characters at the club are absolutely revolting!!!!!!!!! And how anyone can engage with someone like Kate is beyond me…..Part 2 is about Amy who... more goes to the club looking to ambush two guys and have a ménage a troi. She meets up with Troy…how he appears again I had no idea…I thought he had roared off after the altercation with swinging Kate…or maybe this is another Troy…anyway, Troy is going away and Amy wants to do it with him and her cousin!!!!!!!!!did I get this right????? One last time. So off the three go to some OTT place, get undressed, do each other…and no…the guys don’t even touch each other…only Amy….the enjoyable ménage is very short so that Troy does not miss his flight!!!!!!!!!! By then I thought….hell these people are just so idiotic….uninteresting….I thought I was going to burst out laughing…..This book did not do it for me!!!!!!!!! Maybe if I had read the previous 3 books I might have enjoyed.
review 2: The further into the series I delve, the more I find myself liking not just the story but the manner in which the author is telling it. Although each quickie follows a longer, more involved plot line, they can also be read as standalones. This one is a two-for-one. Poor Troy is led by the tiresome Kate into a swingers bar where he discovers he is not the sort of man to stand quietly by while two men have at his girlfriend. I am really growing very fond of Troy.In the second half, Amy says goodbye to her Boy Toys in the sweetest, sexiest way possible. And still, although with other people, both Troy and Amy are having a difficult time getting over one another. I do hope they eventually are able to reconcile and perhaps even fall in love together. There are a few small editing errors that do not dampen my interest in continuing the series. less
