review 1: I've read a number of organizing books before and some parts of my life are fairly well organized, so I was basically reading this to get a few more tips. I did find a few new ideas, so it was worth reading for me. I like the idea of breaking down your organizing chores into 8 minutes chunks, but you can probably figure out how to do that without reading a book. She does cover a number of areas in the house and offers some organizing methods for problem areas. However, reading her book I realized that I must be more organized that I thought I was.
review 2: I'm working through this book concurrently with "One Year to an Organized Life" and they work pretty well together. Instead of devoting an entire Saturday afternoon to a large organizing project as sugge
... morested in "One Year," I can break up the large project into smaller ones and work on it throughout the week. That's not such a big deal at the moment, but when school lets out in two weeks, it will be nice not to have to put my organizing plans on hold for the entire summer. Many of the projects in "8 Minutes" can be done with the help of small children, which is a special bonus. We're going to get their bedrooms organized this summer! less
