review 1: Sandman Slim is easily one of the best books I have ever read. This novel is the B-Movie equivalent of the The Divine Comedy. If you are a fan of horror and supernatural films of the 1980s then you will love this book. James Stark comes back after spending eleven years battling demons in hell to exact revenge on the people who put him there and killed his true love. What ensues is a hilarious, action packed adventure. If you have a sense of humour then I insist you read this book.

... moreat, admittedly doesn't give a damn, and that filters through to the point where I as the reader don't see why I should either. So the story ambles on, and some stuff happens, but it just doesn't matter. less
