review 1: Thanks to R.J. Scott, I was able to purchase this book with an awesome 50$ gift voucher from Silver! I loved the story, it was the perfect combination of sad & happy(I kinda like the stories that take me out of the comfort zone and dead babies have that affect) and I liked the emotion between Nick & Joe. Joe loves Nick but hates himself for feeling that way when he's mourning his dead wife & child. Nick loves Joe, has always loved Joe, even enough to let him go and choose a path that would take Joe away from him. I could go on but it would be better if you just read it for yourselves.
review 2: Just NO. Joe chose Mara over Nick many years before and now Nick's just waiting for him? And Joe doesn't want to start anything because people will think he didn't love ... moreMara? Why did he pick Mara over Nick? We don't know. When he was already with Nick why did Joe even start something with Mara? We don't know. What's to say Joe won't meet another female in the future and dump Nick again? Nothing! This did not work for me in any way, shape or form. less
