review 1: Loved this next book in the Bodyguards Inc. series. Hot new bodyguard, hot tortured sexy rocker, domestic abuse and a very hot hero. We meet Daniel "The rocker" at an x-factor type show & Ben temporarily shows his rescuer side to a hurting Daniel. Fast forward and Ben is getting a drunken call from a hotel bathroom and coming to the rescue, literally and figuratively. The story between these two is tender, strong, sweet and gentle & sexy at all the right times.
review 2: The Texas series will always be my favorite from R. J. Scott. But, I love all her books. The second book in the Bodyguard series is no exception. Daniel Lincoln is a singer on a talent contest. Ben Collins is a bodyguard assigned to the show. Ben notices Daniel. Daniel notices Ben, but D... moreaniel has a big secret. Ms. Scott often tackles uncomfortable topics (PTSD and Autism) and she always does it realistically and respectfully. This book was no different. She does a masterful job once more. I loved Ben. He's a big guy but he's really gentle and open to a relationship. I love how he thinks of and talks to Daniel. My heart went out to Daniel. He's so talented and so brave but he has been through so much. I loved their relationship. Another good entry into this series. I hope we get to see a book about Kyle and Ross soon. less
