review 1: I think there was just to much going with an abusive and controlling ex, fixing up a cottage, two ghost, three brothers etc. etc. there just weren´t enough pages in this book for all this drama. And because of that it all felt a bit rushed. This story should have defenitely be longer. But the main characters are likeable and the writing style is good so overall i enjoyed it and it was a good read.
review 2: Some times RJ can be a bit off the mark with her books but this one was a joy to read. The characters of the main protagonists are well drawn and you can not help but feel for Cody after being on the run from the man who took away his innocence at the age of 18 and nearly killed him four years later after brutalising and demoralising him to such an extent th
... moreat he had no self worth. The ghost story interwoven with the developing attraction between Cody and Seb was interesting and obviously the planning for this story was meticulous as the two stories ran in parallel.Nothing to "blow your socks off" but nevertheless a good entertaining read. less

This was a passable contemporary story with a bit of a paranormal twist.
