review 1: This is a terrific story about two young men, Colton and Parker coming of age. These two must not only over come prejudice because they are gay but they must also start their own pack in a hostel territory. Together with there friends Jed and Trey, they all begin on a journey of discovery, of becoming men on their own. From fun and games, to catching a dangerous predator. They stick together, find and add new pack members. This was a terrific coming of age story. I loved the characters, the insta-wet moments and the friendships. I highly recommend this book and this series. I know I'm hooked!!!
review 2: I really liked this story. The writing flowed and the relationships were believable. One pet peeve was Shell referring to Parker as girl. That's just a persona... morel soapbox that I share with my gay friends lol. Anywho, this story was about relationships--friends, romantic, and family. I wanted to smack Parker's parents but, at least his mom came through (somewhat) at the end. I can't wait for the next book. less
