review 1: This is the second book in the Veronica Mars series, based on the popular tv show and written by the show's creator Rob Thomas. The book series begins where the Veronica Mars movie ends. The first book, The Thousand Dollar Tan Line, was amazing with plot twists coming from every which way. It kept you guessing right up to the end. Mr. Kiss and Tell was quite good, well written, with lots of drama for the characters to deal with, but the mystery was not as satisfying as the first one. Veronica and Mac had identified the villain halfway through the book. The second half was just about gathering proof.I still enjoyed the book and it is definitely worth reading. If you are a Veronica Mars fan, it is a must read.
review 2: First off, as a huge fan of Veronica Mars,
... moreI am so greatful I got to read this book early, and for free! I just had to say thanks to Net Galley and Knopf Doubleday for this opportunity! Mr Kiss and Tell is even better than The Thousand Dollar Tan Line! We get a lot more LoVe, and most is not just skype. I feel like we get more of Veronica's voice in this book. We get to know more about the lives of other characters as well. The mystery is a good one, which at first seems impossible to figure out, with many twists and turns. All is not as it seems, naturally in Neptune. It is definitely a page turner! I always needed to know what was happening next! The only thing I didn't really like about this book, was the hint of a love triangle. It seemed forced in at the last second, in my opinion. But of course, a loving happy stable couple does not make for interesting story lines. I just think it would have been better played up a bit, and not just lumped in towards the end. The "worst" part of this book is waiting to see if there will be a sequel! less

Here's to hoping we get more LoVe in this installment than just a few disappointing Skype calls!

I want it so bad my hand itches. And then I want the series to stretch out forever...
