review 1: This book was nothing short of amazing. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down until I'd finished. It's the sort of story that has you holding your breath until you've finished a paragraph, never sure where the author is going, never sure if they're going to make it. Cal and Niko...their ability to keep going against all odds, not for themselves, but for each other, is awe-inspiring. Rob Thurman has managed to create characters that are so real that you can't help but get invested in their lives and well-being. Deathwish was funny, and heart-wrenching, and all around incredible.
review 2: I think that this is an excellent addition to the series, it moves along quickly, the interaction among charactors are real true to life and the story line. Nico and ca... morel are brothers as they should be looking out for each other, and caring about thier friends.I would recomend this series to anyone, intersted in action, with supernatural intwined with the story of two brothers trying to stay alive, against long odds. less
