The Walking Dead - Single Issues

review 1: 3.5 STARS. Still another interesting continuation of the Walking Dead comics. Rick now wants to build a community. And finds out there's a bigger community out among them. He takes a group to go see this community. The story is slower in this edition than most. I wonder if the writers are running out ideas or things to do. This seems like a repeat of previous events with different characters. Still good but not nearly as good as some of the other editions.
review 2: The community has to deal with the aftermath of the events of book seven. Rick is worried that Carl won't be the same after his injuries and that he can't live a normal life because everyone he cares about gets hurt. Several members resent and fear Rick for taking charge while Rick struggles with ... morethe burden of leadership. A mysterious stranger brings word of a larger world of survivors that have established a semblance of society between communities. This book again brings more hope into the lives of Rick and his group, but their pledge to rid the hilltop of it's tormentors doesn't bode well for their future in the world where the dead walk. less
