review 1: An interesting story about a scholar, Robert Franco, who works at a well known library doing research into old lost pieces of art. He gets involved in unraveling a mysterious lost treasure--the Medusa Amulet. The search takes him all over Italy and France trying to find it. Franco is pitted against evil men also trying to find the lost priceless treasure. The story was an exciting thriller that I enjoyed very much.
review 2: This was an interesting somewhat historical fiction tale about a famous sculptor who finds a way to make an amulet that causes you to have immortality. Overall, pretty good suspense level and I would read another book by this author, giving it 4 stars. Sometimes you get lost in the historical fiction with the french revolution, etc., and th... moree idea Hitler would have found it and had immortality is somewhat unbelievable, but still good read. less
