review 1: A new app for iphones is being used by people who are ill. They are part of a 20,000 person study to see if 'idoc' will work and be successful. George Wilson, a radiology resident, fiancée Kasey is one of the people in the study. She unexpectedly dies and George is devastated as he knew nothing about the study. He becomes involved in trying to track down the reason for her death. This is an interesting concept as far as the story goes and the author plainly projects his bias concerning Obamacare. But I think it certainly is worth reading, although as a hero, George is a wimp!
review 2: Highly disturbing--medical ethics are truly becoming more and more complicated. Once again, Robin Cook is right on target--his insight into the complexities of modern medici
... morene in terms of patient care quality, quantity, and dollar vs. life value issues are the ones the world is currently struggling with. I have to admit that I was extra disturbed when, directly after finishing this book, I downloaded a new software update for my iPhone and a medical health app showed up. It's not iDoc, but that doesn't mean that iDoc isn't in the works somewhere. A must read for anyone in the health system, and for the rest of us who use it. less

Really good, but the ending is a cliffhanger. There better be a followup.

It was well-written, and a good story, but predictable.

A good and quick read, as always, from this author.
