review 1: Woah does this book pack a huuuuge amount of cursing or what! I wanted to leave it and give it a one star but I hate rating books I haven't finished and a friend recommended it so I stuck through it. So what made this book good enough to get one more star? Ethan. Yup he's a prince, a Vampyre (why can't people just spell it as vampire??), very hot and protective. He wasn't over possessive which I liked, and true to my friend's word there were no problems with his ex.This is the first book and a lot happened and so much of it was rushed i felt like i was skimming and missing details. When he realized she had demon blood he turned on her SO fast i got excited as in yeah we'll finally get to see how the prince does apologies!! But then one pep talk with some kind of parent lea... moreds to instant forgiveness... he didn't even grovel :(And then the heroine ends up...yes you guessed it! If you didn't, read the book :P But she's special, the Chosen One and the hero doesn't get to have her all to himself. Some evil part in me felt gleeful at that. HeheI'm going to read the 2nd book though to finish Ethan and Astrid's story...
review 2: I got this book as a free download and it was a lot of fun to read. There is plenty of humor, action and of course lots of romance. I liked the characters and since the book ended with a cliffhanger I am curious to see what will happens next. So book 2 is in my future. Maybe if I am very good Santa will bring me a copy for christmas. I will definitely have to keep Robyn Peterman on my radar and see what she will come up with next. less
