review 1: The first views of the heroine in the previous book showed potential and I was not disappointed. As for the first novella in this mini-sub-series, I felt that it could have been developed into a full length novel with success. I would have liked to understand more about the origin of Nate's self disgust regarding his past easy playboy life and his first efforts at respectability and the difficulty of turning away from a life of self-indulgence. I would have liked to know more about Liza's past life with her friend until her accidental death, living Liza in charge of her son, Dylan. As it was, Liza came across as really gullible, having bought all the lies her friend told her during the 3.5 years they lived together. Even though, it did not seem consistent with her personali... morety.I really enjoyed the romance anyway.
review 2: This is the third novella of the Billionaires on Barefoot Bay. The story of Naughty Nate, who was wild and carefree in his younger years and now wants to clean up his act. Liza shows up at Barefoot, with papers to sign over custody of his son, that he never knew anything of. Nick and Liza go on a journey to find out who is the real mother of his son, many fabrications of this woman that is now deceased. This is my favorite of the Billionaires. Nick is so likeable to me. He is trying so hard to make things right with out the scandal to him and his family as he falls for Liza. I was lucky to receive ARC of this book from the author for a honest review. less
